This Modern Slavery Statement sets out the actions Tidy Up has taken, and continues to take, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains. Tidy Up is committed to operating ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place.
Tidy Up has a clear zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and exploitation. We expect the same high standards from all our suppliers, contractors, and business partners. Any form of abuse of human rights is fundamentally incompatible with our values and the way we do business.
We are committed to conducting business in a manner that respects the dignity, rights, and well-being of all individuals. We seek to work only with organisations that share this commitment and that can demonstrate responsible and transparent labour practices.
Tidy Up engages with a range of suppliers for goods, equipment, and services that support our operations. We recognise that certain sectors and regions may present a higher risk of labour exploitation, and we take a risk-based approach to assessing and managing these risks.
As part of our risk management, we assess suppliers based on the nature of the goods or services provided, the geographic location of their operations, and their track record in relation to labour standards and ethical conduct. Where heightened risk is identified, additional due diligence measures are applied.
All suppliers are expected to comply with applicable labour, employment, and human rights laws and to uphold standards that are consistent with our zero-tolerance position on modern slavery. We communicate our expectations clearly and require suppliers to confirm that they understand and will adhere to these standards.
Tidy Up conducts supplier audits, which may include on-site visits, document reviews, and interviews, to verify compliance with our requirements. These audits are carried out on a risk-prioritised basis and may be undertaken directly by Tidy Up or by qualified third-party specialists. Where non-compliance or potential indicators of modern slavery are identified, we take appropriate and timely corrective action.
Failure by a supplier to address serious or repeated non-compliance may result in the suspension or termination of the business relationship.
We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among our employees and key stakeholders. Relevant teams receive training on recognising signs of exploitation, understanding our policies, and knowing how to respond to concerns.
Tidy Up encourages a culture of speaking up. Employees, contractors, and suppliers are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery or unethical labour practices through our established internal reporting routes or via our whistleblowing channels. Reports can be made confidentially, and Tidy Up will not tolerate any form of retaliation against individuals who raise concerns in good faith.
All reports related to potential modern slavery are treated seriously, investigated promptly, and escalated to senior management where appropriate. Where necessary, we will cooperate with law enforcement or relevant external agencies.
Overall responsibility for overseeing our approach to modern slavery sits with Tidy Up’s senior leadership. They are accountable for ensuring that appropriate policies, procedures, and controls are in place and that they are effectively implemented and monitored.
This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed at least annually to ensure it remains current, effective, and reflective of our evolving operations and risk profile. As part of the annual review process, we evaluate the effectiveness of our actions, take into account any incidents or emerging risks, and identify opportunities for improvement in our policies, audits, and training.
Tidy Up is committed to continuous improvement in preventing and addressing modern slavery within our business and supply chains. By maintaining robust standards, transparent practices, and open reporting channels, we aim to contribute to the global effort to eliminate modern slavery in all its forms.
