Clever Tricks for Your Bathroom Cleaning

bathroom cleaning

Bathroom cleaning is one of those things that you want to finish up as quickly as possible and simply get off your mind. On theory, it should take no more than an hour to tackle everything. In reality, you end up scrubbing the tiles and tub the whole afternoon in an attempt to clean the persistent spots, mould stains and lime scale. Luckily you can get your bathroom gleaming double quick with these clever cleaning hacks and tricks.

1. Magic erasers will save you a lot of scrubbing time

You can use magic erasers to remove toilet bowl stains. Cut off a bit of the pad and let it sit overnight. The next day you simply need to take it out and you are done. Pretty easy! Also, these foam like pads work miracles on grout and tiles.

2. Replace your traditional soap bars

If you are tired of cleaning soap scum from your bathroom sink and clogged drains, you can consider switching to glycerine bar soap or liquid soap. The scum contains not only soap, but also minerals and dirt that can build up and clog your shower. You can also use a squeegee to scrub the scum on the tiled walls and glass door after showering, which will save you a lot of cleaning time later.

3. Soak your shower head

Pour one cup vinegar and one cup water into a plastic bag and secure it over the shower head with a twist-tie or rubber band. The shower head should be soaked into the liquid. Let it sit overnight and then rinse with warm water. This simple hack will make a huge difference to the bathroom cleaning.

Instead of wiping the mildew from the shower curtain, simply put it into the washing machine. You can add your regular detergent or half a cup of baking soda. Wash it together with a couple of towels that will rub the liner.
